Laurence Carolan is proud to be the first NARI Contractor In New York State to obtain certification as a Green Remodeling Professional as administerd by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) CGR.We have also received certified green professional standard CGP with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
The idea that Green Remodeling costs more is really not true when you understand the process. Slight changes to the products selected and how you use them can make all the difference.

We make every effort to inform our clients of the Green aspects of there project. From reuse or recycle of lumber and cabinets to low VOC paints. Every project will have a Green elements. One day what ids called Green Remodeling will be the standard.
“When I 1st started working in this business 25 years ago I wanted to know why we could not reuse the lumber we were ripping out to vault a ceiling and I commented that in Ireland I had seen people straighten the pulled nails for reuse. People didn’t just throw away. I was told it was too much bother or not worth the money to save the lumber or other items. Today we are reusing the lumber and other goods we remove from our projects and while I can’t persuade people to straighten the nails we are much more conscious of the limited resources of Mother Earth."
